This collection of work shows the range of media which I have explored. Most pieces are a study of color and exhibit how vibrant hues contrast with neutrals. Because a variety of media is taught to my students, I feel my skills should showcase my artistic experimentation of each medium. Ceramics will always be a constant, but I also enjoy how other mediums allow a wider range of color. Immediate satisfaction comes from cutting watercolor paper scraps and overlapping them to create interesting compositions. Polymer clay allows me to create custom jewelry in any color at any time. Coiling with yarn is a traditional method of basket making that I hope to explore further in combination with my ceramic work.
